Destination: Thailand – Romantic Honeymoon Rentals

Thailand is such a sexy and sunshine-filled country that many couples discover it long before they tie the knot. Whether you and your loved one are among those happy couples, or are considering this romantic hotspot for the first time, your own luxurious and private holiday rental in paradise can provide a refreshing alternative to conventional hotels and resorts.

Thailand is comprised of five distinct regions: the North with its rolling hills, wildlife and exotic hill tribes, the Northeast, the East, Central, and South with its spectacular beaches and islands.

In each of them, AD ASIA Real Estate works closely with leading luxury property developers to bring to each of our clients the top-of-the-line listings in the area through the continuously updated properties and promotions on the Thailand Holiday Homes & Rentals section of our website.

There you will find comprehensive descriptions and photos of each property in each destination, the most current prices, secure online booking for instant availability, real reviews from guests who have stayed there, and phone and email contacts for more information 24/7.

Here’s a snapshot of Thailand’s top destinations for romantic getaways – Bangkok, Pattaya, Chiang Mai, Chiang Rai, Hua Hin, Koh Lanta, Koh Chang, Koh Phangan, Koh Samui, Phang Nga, Phuket and Krabi. In each of them we offer stunning one-of-a-kind luxury getaway properties for two up to twenty guests.

  • Bangkok

You may wish to begin with some time in the intoxicating capital city, also known as the City of Angels, to dine on the best of Thailand’s cuisine at one of the city’s stunning rooftop venues, shop in the world-class shopping centers or one-of-a-kind markets and boutiques, or simply relax and pamper yourself at one of the many indulgent spas.

  • Pattaya

One of the hottest beach-resort destinations in Thailand, and the world, Pattaya may not be idyllic but it certainly makes up for it with a wide variety of activities, accommodation and nightlife venues. A mere two-hour drive from Bangkok, hundreds of thousands of visitors are drawn each year to Pattaya to windsurf, water ski, swim, sunbathe, snorkel, sail or take trips to nearby islands.

  • Chiang Mai

Thailand’s “Rose of the North” is a cultural and natural wonderland with ethnic diversity, a multitude of attractions, and welcoming hospitality. It’s a laid-back city where couples can spend some quality time together visiting temples, strolling through markets, taking a hill tribe trek, rafting rivers, or bathing under waterfalls.

  • Chiang Rai

Farther north still, the quieter neighbor of Chiang Mai is a land of outstanding natural beauty, where visitors looking to avoid the hordes can visit remote hill tribes and spot exotic wildlife, and the adventurous can explore the legendary golden triangle.

But let’s get back to Thailand’s stunning beaches, which after all have always been the main attraction here. Plop yourselves down into your private pool overlooking the turquoise waters of the sea, or relax in the absolute privacy of your own luxury villa and take in some sun – with no tan lines!  Whether you prefer five-star luxury in one of the better-known destinations, or a small unspoiled escape far from the crowds, Thailand has it all – and so do we.

  • Hua Hin

Why not experience a real Thai honeymoon where the Thai couples go? Only a three-hour drive from Bangkok, this lovely fishing village offers fresh seafood, great night markets, art galleries, cafes – and some very romantic villas. When it’s time to go out, nature awaits with beaches and a waterfall close at hand, and a national park a couple hours away.

  • Koh Lanta

Koh Lanta is a big island with nine beaches along the sunset coast. With its stunning scenery, fantastic white sandy beaches, coastlines dotted with more than 70 small islands, and plenty of forest, coral reefs and underwater life, the island is popular among older tourists seeking a holiday away from the parties, who prefer strolling on the beach and watching the sunset rather than drinking and dancing.

  • Koh Chang

Koh Chang is Thailand’s second largest island, and while not heavily populated, tourism and development have increased dramatically over the last few years – with good reason. It is one of the country’s most beautiful islands, with long white-sand beaches, a wide range of wildlife, including birds, snakes, deer and a number of elephants, and there are some great places for snorkeling, diving and jungle trekking.

  • Koh Phangan

Ever since a group of tourists found out that the most beautiful moons in the country were over Koh Phangan, and arranged a party along crescent-shaped Haad Rin beach to celebrate it on Full Moon Night, 10,000-30,000 people have made the pilgrimage and joined the party each month. It is also possible, however, to be far away from Haad Rin beach and have this island paradise to yourselves.

  • Koh Samui

Koh Phangan’s neighbor might be commercialized and somewhat cosmopolitan for an island, but if you and your loved one are after a resort getaway, this might be the perfect choice. Situated in the Gulf of Thailand, the island is packed with luxury resorts, spas and villas, and along with the luxurious accommodation and tropical beaches, there is a thriving nightlife scene.

  • Phang Nga

Not to confused with Koh Phangan, Phang Nga lies on the Andaman coast on the Thai mainland immediately north of Phuket. It is a province blessed with a variety of outstanding natural attractions including the stunning Phang Nga Bay, the idyllic Surin and Similan Islands, which attract divers from around the world, and the sandy coast of Khao Lak

  • Phuket

When travelers dream about sea, sun and sand, Phuket is generally the vision that comes to mind. Located in the Andaman Sea, Thailand’s largest island is big enough to accommodate the party scene on one side and the natural splendor on the other, with an infinite supply of accommodation on all sides.

  • Krabi

Krabi, on southern Thailand’s Andaman coast, is an impossibly beautiful region of archipelagos, bays and coves, caves, hot springs, a wildlife sanctuary, flourishing coral reefs and exotic marine life, limestone cliffs and, not least, national parks that include the island paradises of Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta.

At AD ASIA Real Estate, we’ve watched all of these amazing destinations evolve through the many years we’ve been living and working here in Thailand and would be delighted to share our wealth of insider local knowledge with you. Please do take a look at our latest listings and feel free to contact us with any questions – because we want your romantic retreat to bring only perfect and happy memories.
